Rachel Hucker Senior Associate

Rachel is a senior associate in the dispute resolution team and specialises in the following:

• professional negligence, particularly on behalf of claimants in claims against solicitors and surveyors 
• fraud and white collar crime 
• contractual and commercial disputes, and
• company and shareholder disputes.

Rachel acts for a wide range of clients, from High Net Worth Individuals to financial institutions. She has both High Court and Court of Appeal experience, and has advised on a number of cases requiring urgent injunctive relief to protect the client's commercial interests (including freezing orders and search orders).

• Acting for a US-based corporation to recover financial compensation from the former managing director of its UK subsidiary for breaches of his fiduciary duties.
• Advising an international aerospace company on an urgent injunction against an employee.
• Advising an Irish-based company on a breach of warranty claim, including advice on a freezing injunction and product recall.
• Advising a leading UK financial institution in a deceit/conspiracy claim against solicitors who acted for a borrower during a re-financing and concealed a fraud.
• Advising lenders on a portfolio of a professional negligence claims against commercial surveyors and solicitors.
