Sarah joined Burges Salmon as a trainee in 2013. She is an experienced environmental and energy lawyer, recognised by Legal 500 as a Rising Star. She helps clients to navigate regulatory and contractual issues and to bring forward net zero projects.
She is known for her clear and incisive regulatory analysis, her development of bespoke contractual solutions for innovative projects, and her skill at bringing order to complex, multi-strand matters.
Sarah advises on a wide spectrum of environmental law and regulation, including carbon and energy law, ESG and sustainability, contaminated land, permitting, product stewardship, natural capital, waste and water law.
She has a particular specialism in renewable energy, acting for developers, utilities, investors and funders on issues including energy regulation, grid connections, supply licensing, offtake and route to market.
Sarah sits on Burges Salmon’s Environment Committee and ESG steering group.
